Bosch dishwasher not cleaning properly.
Engineers repair comments.
On my arrival i put the bosch dishwasher no a quick wash cycle, the machine filled normally then the motor started to run, the Bosch dishwasher detergent dispenser opened and the Dishwasher started to heat. I then opened the door & set both top and bottom spray arms facing the front door, shut the door and ran the machine for 30 seconds, opened the door again to see if the spray arms had moved from the position i had put them in, the bottom arm had moved but the top spray arm way still in the same position. I replaced the top spray arm and carried out the same test. This time the Boschdishwasher spray arms both changed direction. We would add that for effient cleaning both spray arms need to be in good condition, being worn on the center fitting and splits along the sides can give very poor washing results
Indesit IDF125 Dishwasher Spare Parts

The new IDF125 Indesit dishwasher has changed design, the look of the dishwasher hasn’t changed too much but internally there is a big difference. The wash pump motor is made by Askoll, this isn’t a motor as we know it. The impellor on this thing vibrates and aggitates back & forward. I have replaced two of these pumps already due the impellor falling off the motor shaft. The Indesit IDf125 has a 31.8 ohm heater is seated on the end wash motor housing, both these and the other components situated in the base of the dishwasher are accessed via a plastic panel in the bottom of the dishwasher.

My Indesit dishwasher is not starting.
Engineers repair comments.
a posible fault would be the door lock as the door needs to closed to start the machine. On inspection of the customers Indesit dishwasher i found that the Indesit dishwasher door lock was not locking into the dishwasher door catch, which in turn would not operate the micro switch to start the dishwasher. i removed the front of the door and then removed the control fascia panel to gain access to the door lock, as i inspected the Indesit dishwasher door lock i found that the spring part within the lock had broken. I replaced the dishwasher door lock C00195887, function tested the dishwasher, all working fine again.

Hotpoint Dishwasher Not Cleaning
Engineers repair comments.
On inspection of the customers Hotpoint bfi620
dishwasher i first had to determine which if any Hotpoint dishwasher spares or spare parts were required, i ran the dishwasher on a quick wash to check the filling cycle, wash cycle, heat cycle and the drain cycle. All of these function pasted this test. During the wash / heat cycle i opened the door to see if the spray arms were rotating, to do this test you need to rotate both spary arms so they are facing you then shut the dishwasher door, run the machine for 1 minute then open the door again and if the spray arms have moved then the are turning but if they are still in the same postion then there is a problem. In my test the top dishwasher arm didn’t turn so that was the Hotpoint dishwasher spare part that i needed to replace, i uncliped the top spray arm and replaced it with a new Hotpoint spare part.

I don’t know if any Hotpoint dishwasher spares or spare parts are required but i would like you to carry out a service on my dishwasher anyway.
I carried out a function test on the DWF32 Hotpoint Dishwasher, the machine filled to the correct water level, the wash motor then ran ok and wasn’t noise at all, i then carried out a temperature test on the full 65 degree cycle which was also ok, but when the machine drained the water out i noticed a leak from the drain hose, on closer inspection i found a tiny split in the Hotpoint dishwaher drain hose . I replaced the drain hose and then tested the machine on a rinse cycle, the dishwasher is now working normally again.
Why is there lots of foam in my dishwasher?
Posted by admin in Dishwasher Spares & Repair News on April 25th, 2009
Foam overflows through the dishwasher door seal during the cycle. The dishwasher stops during the cycle and this is because the foam cut out or overfill has been activated. There is foam remaining in the dishwasher at the completion of the cycle.
