Bosch dishwasher not cleaning properly.
Engineers repair comments.
On my arrival i put the bosch dishwasher no a quick wash cycle, the machine filled normally then the motor started to run, the Bosch dishwasher detergent dispenser opened and the Dishwasher started to heat. I then opened the door & set both top and bottom spray arms facing the front door, shut the door and ran the machine for 30 seconds, opened the door again to see if the spray arms had moved from the position i had put them in, the bottom arm had moved but the top spray arm way still in the same position. I replaced the top spray arm and carried out the same test. This time the Boschdishwasher spray arms both changed direction. We would add that for effient cleaning both spray arms need to be in good condition, being worn on the center fitting and splits along the sides can give very poor washing results
Neff Oven Door Glass Loose

To fix the inner glass panel to my oven door you need to remove the oven door from the cooker, this can normally be achieved by locking the door hinges to do this open the oven door and either turning locking circle on the inner door panel or engaging the small hook on the hinge it self by slowing shutting the door you then lift out the complete door including the hinges from the body of the oven, The oven door can then be separated by removing screws either or both along the bottom of the door and those that hold the door handle, remove the old sealant (which may look like a rubber gasket) and clean both the oven door and the glass, Apply and even bead of the High performance heat resitant 300 deg sealant , Apply even pressure to the glass and place a weight on the glass until the sealant cures ( normally about 3-4 hours) , re-assemble the door back together and refit back onto the oven

Carbon Brushes for Zanussi Electrolux, Aeg and Tricity Bendix Washng Machines and Washer Dryers

Trying to identify Zanussi Washing Machine Motor Brushes is quite difficult because the manufacturer have been using three different motors during the production and design of their range of washing machines and washer dryers .
Electrolux, who are the owners the brand for Aeg, Zanussi, Electrolux, Tricity Bendix, John Lewis, amongst others, and used three different types of motor. These are SOLE, FHP and CESET for washing machines and washer dryers
Each type of motor may have been fitted to the same machines during production and are perfectly interchangeable with each other. The only thing we need to know is, that we identify and fit the correct carbon brush set to the appropriate motor. Hopefully the diagram we show will help in identifying your correct brush
We show a selection of these carbon brushes for you to purchase or if in doubt please telphone us on 0844 3577644 where we will be glad to offer assistance
Aways clean the armature when fitting new brushes
Flymo Spare Parts

It is fair to say that Flymo mowers changed the way we mow the lawn. Quite literally. Because for the first time there was a mower that did not come into contact with the turf. Instead it floated across the lawn on a cushion of air, With the extensive range of Flymo mowers to choose from keeping your lawn looking good has never been easier. The secret of a good lawn is to mow little and often, with the aim being to simply top the grass each time you mow. This makes mowing much easier and it helps to keep the grass green and healthy.
Lawns can be mown at any time when the grass is actively growing, but the main period of growth is from early spring until late autumn. For best results mow when the grass is dry and remove any foreign objects from the lawn that may cause damage to the mower. If you want stripes on your lawn chose a mower with a rear roller such as the Flymo Visimo.
To order to give the grass that new mown look you do need to ensure that the cutting blade is sharp and balanced, we have all done it ? stones, tree stumps etc can unbalance the blade and damage the cutting edge, replacing a damaged Cutting blade’s are very easy (ensure you disconnect the mower from the supply) to replace by removing the securing bolt from the motor shaft,
Damaged and cut cables can be come a problem and one way to avoid this can be to start cutting the lawn from the direction of where the lead comes from and then you tend to be cutting away from the lead instead of over it, if only a short length of damaged cable needs to be cut off and fit our moulded socket at the end of a Flymo extension lead is quite easy for an average DIY person and is less costly than buying a new lead. Make sure that the cable grips are quite tight so that the cable does not pull away from the socket while mowing.

Washing machine door seals are made of a flexible rubber material, They attach to the outer drum front plate and is held on via a spung loaded clip or a clip which is tightened by a nut and bolt system. It is then held onto the front cabinet of the washing machine via a spring clip. Most Washing Machine rubber door seals have a drainage hole or holes at the bottom of the seal, this allows excess water that has collected in the seal to drain away, so when it is time to take the washing out of the machine there is no water laying in the seal so the clothes stay dry.
A large proportion of service call problems come the machine not being able to pump out the water and one the most important things you can do is to do a regular check on the filter

Indesit IDF125 Dishwasher Spare Parts

The new IDF125 Indesit dishwasher has changed design, the look of the dishwasher hasn’t changed too much but internally there is a big difference. The wash pump motor is made by Askoll, this isn’t a motor as we know it. The impellor on this thing vibrates and aggitates back & forward. I have replaced two of these pumps already due the impellor falling off the motor shaft. The Indesit IDf125 has a 31.8 ohm heater is seated on the end wash motor housing, both these and the other components situated in the base of the dishwasher are accessed via a plastic panel in the bottom of the dishwasher.

My Indesit dishwasher is not starting.
Engineers repair comments.
a posible fault would be the door lock as the door needs to closed to start the machine. On inspection of the customers Indesit dishwasher i found that the Indesit dishwasher door lock was not locking into the dishwasher door catch, which in turn would not operate the micro switch to start the dishwasher. i removed the front of the door and then removed the control fascia panel to gain access to the door lock, as i inspected the Indesit dishwasher door lock i found that the spring part within the lock had broken. I replaced the dishwasher door lock C00195887, function tested the dishwasher, all working fine again.
Vent Hoses For Tumble Dryer
Posted by admin in Tumble Dryer Spares & Repairs News on October 18th, 2009
The advantages of a tumble dryer are that your clothes are ready to wear again in the minium time after washing
The draw back however is the cost and that dryer machines may cause clothes to shrink, become less soft (due to loss of short soft fibers/ lint) and fade.
Safety in tumble dryers
Remember that drying your clothes in a tumble dryer expose flammable materials to heat.
Clean the filter after every cycle for safety and energy efficiency.
Provide adequate ventilation around the dryer.
Do not place any rubber, foam and plastic items in the dryer — or anything that has had a flammable substance spilled on it.
Either D I Y or have your dryer and vent duct cleaned professionally at a minimum of every two years.
Electrolux Paper Bags

We supply all type’s of Electrolux genuine paper bags and filters, Genuine paper bags are made of the correct paper to allow the air to pass through and to retain all the dust in the bag, this is important as you don’t want any dust escaping from the bag but also you want a full and constant air flow through the bag to give a good suction to ensure that you are thoroughly cleaning, Its also important to clean filter’s on a regular basis
Vacuum Cleaner Belts
Posted by admin in Vacuum Cleaner Spares & Repairs News on October 6th, 2009
Its just not another vacuum cleaner belt and you may wonder why there are so many to choose from, but it is important to obtain the the correct belt for your vacuum cleaner, we also reccomend the one’s supplied by the manufacture’s of the vacuum cleaner that you have, we find that in most cases that these give a longer useful workinglife and because they are made to the correct tension they not cause extra wear on the motor and brush-roll bearings of your vacuum cleaner
When replacing the the belt always ensure that the motor drive shaft and brush-roll running track are clean and free of any debris and that the brush roll is free to rotate with out any undue resistance, fit the belt centrally on the brush-rool and motor shaft and rotate the by hand a few turns to ensure belt turns freely, if you have to fit a bottom or top cover after fittinfg the belt also then rotate the brush by hand again to ensure you have not trapedthe belt before operating the cleaner
